Innegra Hybrid
The Hybrid Tapes are custom made (purpose built) for surfboard production and have become the industry standard for strengthening the rails and tail area of surfboards, the area’s most affected by high impact and back foot pressure.
We have used surfboard E-Glass and infused Innegra Strands to give the Hybird PolyFlex Tapes a unique kinetic flex pattern that is less stiffer then the Hybrid Carbon Tapes. The Innegra strands have a fast recoil rate, that when the board is pushed through a turn it flexes against the boards nature rocker. The Innegra strands and E-Glass react and spring the board back to its nature rocker curve and in doing creating speed and adding strength at the same time. The Innegra is stronger then PloyFlex Strands and carbon, but offers more flex then carbon.

INDUSTRY USES
Tail Patches
Innegra Hybrid Tapes feature on the back rail of surfboards to prevent the tails from shattering and strengthening the deck from foot compressions.
Bottom of Surfboard
Innegra Hybrid Tapes are also used on the bottom of the surfboards to create additional spring or pop out of the board. Known as Kitetic Flex
Full Rail of Surfboard
Innegra Hybrid Tapes are often used along the full length of the surfboard rail with stringerless surfboards for added strength.
PU & EPS Compatible
Developed by Shapers Composites
Our Innegra Hybrid Tapes are compatible with both EPS Epoxy and PU Polyester Resin. The Uni Innegra Hybrid are used during the lamination process. The tapes are placed on the foam before the cloth is laminated. Most manufactures mark the area they wish to place the Innegra Hybrid Tapes, and brush a small amount of resin on the foam . The Innegra Hybrid Tapes are then placed on the resin and then continue to lay the cloth over the board and laminate as normal.
