Plain Weave

3K Carbon (200gsm) fibre cloth is the industry standard for surfboard hand laminating (wet lay-ups) and vacuum bagging processes.

 

Plain weave cloth uses carbon fibre in Weft and Warp that are woven in an over/under pattern. It is symmetrical and resembles a checkerboard. Plain weave carbon cloth has the drapability  qualities required to fit the contours for surfboard production.

Twill Weave

3K Carbon (200gsm) fibre cloth is the industry standard for surfboard hand laminating (wet lay-ups) and vacuum bagging processes.

Twill weave carbon is a type of carbon fibre fabric that has 2×2* pattern of interlocking threads and gives the traditional carbon fibre look. Twill weave carbon cloth has a high level of drapability and suits designs with complex contours.
